Privacy policy
The NoTeleport app for Android. In effect since 8 October 2026.
NoTeleport does not collect, transmit or sell any of your data. The app has no internet access: everything it does happens on your phone.
Location
The app reads the phone's location for one purpose: to notice when the GPS signal is being spoofed and keep the fake from reaching your navigation app. It does so while protection is on, also when the app is not on the screen. The location is processed on the phone and is not sent anywhere.
What is kept on the phone
The last trusted location (to recognise spoofing right after a start), the history of spoofing (when it happened, how long it lasted and where the fake signal pointed), and a technical journal. None of it goes into backups, and all of it is gone when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Recording a drive
In Diagnostics you can start recording a drive into a file on the phone: which location apps were given and what the protection did. Recording never starts by itself. The app does not send the file anywhere; only you can send it, with the Share button.
Recordings are kept in the app's private folder, which other apps cannot open. The journal is kept in the app's folder in the phone's storage; on Android 8–10 other apps that you have given access to storage can read it.
Other apps on the phone
NoTeleport checks whether Google Maps, Waze, OsmAnd and Android Auto are installed and whether they hold the location permission, to show how they will fare without GPS. This stays on the phone.
Third parties
The app has no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. It learns about a new version from Google Play on your phone; the app itself sends nothing in the process.
While GPS is off, the phone works out its location from Wi-Fi and mobile networks through Google's services (the Android setting “Location Accuracy”). Android does this itself, as it does for any other app; what Google receives in the process is described in Google's privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page.
